September 8th: The Wines of Spanish Basque Country
The Treasure Valley Wine Society hosts an evening of wine tasting from 7-9pm every month except July at the Grand Lodge at Meadow Lake Village, 4037 E. Clocktower Lane, Meridian. This month we will explore the unusual red and white wines of Spanish Basque country. The cost is $20/person members and $25/person non-members, and includes a generous buffet of appetizers. The Treasure Valley Wine Society is open for membership to anyone who enjoys wine and wishes to learn more through regular monthly tasting classes. Membership is $20/person and $35/couple. You do not need to be a member to attend the monthly events, although you do receive a discount on the cost of the classes if you are a member. "Let's Tango! The Wines of Argentina"
Corkscrews Wine Shop & Pub in downtown Meridian continues its series of wine classes by hosting a special tasting of awesome red and white wines from Argentina. The class will be held on September 9th from 7:00 - 8:30pm. Cost is $15/person and includes food bites.

Divine wine bar in Meridian is hosting a special tasting class foscussing on the differences among wine varietals based on nose and palate elements through blind tasting techniques.
